Information and Brokerage Event - Southeast Asia (SEA) - Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation (JFS)
BACKGROUND
The Southeast Asia (SEA) – Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation (JFS) is a network of funders from Southeast Asia and Europe, which launches Joint Calls for Proposals on an annual basis. The JFS is coordinated by the Global Service Facility (GSF), a project funded by the European Commission (EC).
The 2024 Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Joint Call for Proposals (9th Call) is open for submission in the “Climate Change Adaptation and Local Resilience”, including:
- Waste Water Treatment and Reuse (Industrial and Municipal)
- Underwater and Above-Water Biomass Farms working with Renewable Energy
- Assessment and Remediation of Contaminated Inorganic and Organic Soils
Taking place in Hanoi, the JFS Information and Brokerage Event is part of a series aiming at fostering international cooperation in research and innovation (R&I) between the ASEAN and the EU. This event will provide all relevant information about the SEA-Europe JFS and related activities as well as the eligibility criteria for applicants for the currently open Call for Proposals. The submission tool will also be presented in detail.
To support the set-up of strong consortia for the submission of high-quality project proposals, selected speakers from Southeast Asian and European entities (e.g. public and private research institutes, companies, SMEs, Start-ups and NGOs) that are seeking partner organisations will present their expertise, institutions, project ideas and the profiles of partners that they are searching for.
TARGET GROUP
Representatives of Southeast Asian or European entities that are interested in bi-regional research and related to the aforementioned areas.
