📢 Call for Proposals: DAAD Alumni Events 2026 – Change by Exchange
In 2026,
DAAD Hanoi will coordinate a series of alumni events across Vietnam under the motto “Change by Exchange”. Alumni are invited to apply for grants of up to 3,000 EUR to organise one-day events that combine: 1) a public presentation of a socially relevant, academically inspired topic – in any format. DAAD funding may be used to invite a speaker from Germany. 2) An internal DAAD-hosted workshop to strengthen alumni contributions to Vietnamese-German academic relations.
🔹 Key requirements:
• Events in Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, or Can Tho
• At least 50% of participants must be DAAD Alumni
• Minimum 30 participants desirable
• Topics linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Event duration: max. 1 day, before 15 Nov 2026

Vậy là mình chính thức khép lại hành trình thực tập gần 6 tháng tại DAAD.
Mình bắt đầu từ tháng 10/2025 – đúng vào mùa của những lễ hội và sự kiện, và cũng là một năm rất đặc biệt: 100 năm DAAD và 50 năm quan hệ Việt-Đức. Có lẽ vì thế mà hành trình này lại càng đáng nhớ hơn ✨
Trong suốt thời gian qua, mình đã có cơ hội tham gia vào nhiều sự kiện, học được nhiều hơn và kết nối với rất nhiều người tuyệt vời. Không chỉ được trải nghiệm những điều mới mẻ trong một môi trường làm việc chuyên nghiệp, mình còn nhận được rất nhiều sự giúp đỡ và sự ấm áp từ các cô, chú, các chị trong văn phòng và Trung tâm Việt-Đức 🤗
Hy vọng những bài đăng và thông tin mình chia sẻ trong 6 tháng vừa qua đã phần nào giúp mọi người có cái nhìn rõ ràng hơn về việc học tập và nghiên cứu tại Đức 🇩🇪

Damit geht mein fast 6-monatiges Praktikum beim DAAD offiziell zu Ende.
Ich habe im Oktober 2025 angefangen – genau in der Zeit vieler Feste und Veranstaltungen, und außerdem in einem ganz besonderen Jahr: 100 Jahre DAAD und 50 Jahre deutsch-vietnamesischer Beziehungen. Vielleicht ist diese Zeit deshalb für mich noch unvergesslicher geworden ✨
In den letzten Monaten hatte ich die Möglichkeit, an vielen Veranstaltungen teilzunehmen, viel zu lernen und viele tolle Menschen kennenzulernen. Ich konnte nicht nur neue Erfahrungen in einem professionellen Arbeitsumfeld sammeln, sondern habe auch viel Unterstützung und Herzlichkeit von den Mitarbeiter*innen im Büro und im VDZ erhalten 🤗
Ich hoffe, dass meine Beiträge und Informationen in den letzten 6 Monaten euch einen besseren Einblick in das Studium und die Forschung in Deutschland geben konnten 🇩🇪

Hello everyone, it’s me again – Phương Anh 👋
My nearly 6-month internship at DAAD Vietnam has officially come to an end.
I started in October 2025 – right in the middle of festival and event season, and also in a very special year: 100 years of DAAD and 50 years of Vietnam-Germany relations. Maybe that’s what made this journey even more memorable ✨
Over the past months, I’ve had the chance to take part in a lot of events, learn more, and connect with so many wonderful people. I not only did gain new experiences in a professional working environment, but also received so much support and warmth from everyone at the office and the Vietnamese-German Center 🤗
I hope that the posts and information I’ve shared over the past 6 months have given you a clearer picture of study and research in Germany 🇩🇪

✨Alumni Workshop: Nơi các cựu sinh viên cùng ôn lại kỷ niệm, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm và thắt chặt sợi dây liên kết trong cộng đồng Alumi tại Lào.
🎤 Panel Discussion: Những góc nhìn sâu sắc về tầm quan trọng của hợp tác trong lĩnh vực giáo dục giữa Lào và Đức.
🥂 Evening Reception: Khoảnh thời gian thư giãn và kết nối.

DAAD-Alumni-Meeting „The many Shades of Lao-German-(Educational) Cooperation”
Last week, the DAAD Regional Office Hanoi, in cooperation with the German Embassy in Laos, organized a gathering for Germany alumni in Vientiane. In the warm atmosphere of the embassy’s auditorium and its lush green garden, we came together to recall our study experiences in Germany, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore new opportunities for collaboration through a series of inspiring activities:
✨ Alumni Workshop: A space for alumni to reconnect, share experiences, and strengthen the bonds within the alumni community in Laos.
🎤 Panel Discussion: Insightful perspectives on the importance of educational cooperation between Laos and Germany.
